Phenomenon | Detailed Description | Cause Analysis | Solutions and Precautions |
| Laser Burnout | Flashes and goes out immediately after power-on and burns out | Instantaneous overvoltage/overcurrent | 1. The drive scheme must ensure no overshoot at the moment of power-on, especially voltage overshoot. A voltage overshoot of 0.2V can cause a current overshoot of 0.5A .2. The drive scheme shall be able to suppress ripples and avoid instantaneous output overshoot during us. 3. Poor contact of the line connection at the drive output terminal is very likely to cause voltage overshoot. Ensure good line connection, and direct wire welding is recommended. |

| Significant Brightness Drop | Significant brightness drop during aging, but the fluorescent sheet is intact | Poor heat dissipation | An external heat sink must be used to dissipate heat for the light source. The heat sink must be directly attached to the heat conduction surface of the light source without any padding in between. See "Heat Dissipation Requirements" for details. |
| Black spots at the light-emitting part of the fluorescent sheet | Instantaneous overcurrent | Every product of BL-LIGHT has passed a 2-hour continuous lighting test before delivery. Aging tests prove that products passing the delivery test will not have fluorescent sheet burnout under normal drive use. | |
| Emits very dim light | Laser burnout | See the above description | |
| Water mist inside the product | Water ingress | This product is not waterproof by itself. Please be sure to design waterproofing for the entire light source. | |
| Poor Light Spot | Blue or yellow ring around the light spot | Assembly out of tolerance | The assembly accuracy requirement for the distance from the lens to the light source is ±0.05mm, which is much higher than that of LED. The light source must be positioned using the positioning surface shown in the diagram. Assembly out of tolerance will cause obvious darkening of the light spot center and coloration around it. |
